Design for scalability

Infrastructure accounts for up to 95% of the overall high-speed rail and maglev project costs. To ensure hyperloop can be deployed cost-effectively in routes of 400 to 1500 km, the system needs to prove its scalability, and this is why it is one of Zeleros’ top design principles.

To reduce hyperloop infrastructure complexity, Zeleros’ approach adds the majority of technologies in the vehicle, which drastically cuts the cost of infrastructure per kilometer, delivering the needed scalability that the hyperloop needs for global deployment.

Ensuring the highest degree of safety and reliability

Zeleros’ hyperloop system can operate at safe pressure levels where aviation is already certified to fly, simplifying processes and ensuring common safety methods  can be applied. By operating at aviation pressure levels (instead of space pressure levels) Zeleros will also accelerate the path to market of hyperloop.

Transport accounts for 1/3rd of all GHG emissions. With growing population this is likely to increase. Zeleros’ hyperloop system can be up to 5 to 10 times more energy-efficient than an airplane for the same inland route, and operate with 0 direct emissions, thanks to its fully electric powertrain.
