GDES Circularity and Zeleros have joined forces, combining their experience and technology to develop e-TOWER, an innovative solution redefining sustainable mobility by tackling one of the sector’s main challenges: the efficient management of resources and waste.
e-TOWER drives the transition towards a more circular, sustainable, and competitive energy model, reaffirming both companies’ commitment to responsible innovation while providing an effective response to the growing demand for ultra-fast electric charging infrastructure.

A sustainable and efficient response
e-TOWER makes use of second-life batteries from the automotive industry—discarded during production, testing, or verification processes, yet retaining full industrial guarantees of safety and performance. In doing so, it transforms potential waste into a key resource for the circular energy transition, avoiding up to 50 tons of CO₂eq emissions per unit installed.
The system features modular energy storage in an initial configuration of 500 kWh, scalable according to demand, enabling:
- The simultaneous charging of up to four electric vehicles.
- The installation of high-power chargers in locations where the electrical grid would otherwise not allow it, without requiring medium-voltage connections.
In addition, e-TOWER is designed to integrate directly with 100% renewable energy sources, reinforcing its sustainable edge compared to other market alternatives.
This technology is the result of a collaboration between GDES Circularity—the GDES division specialized in Circular Economy and Supply Chain—and Zeleros, a leading company in electrification and advanced mobility technologies.
e-TOWER targets customers such as Charge Point Operators (CPOs), service station managers, and companies seeking to provide fast charging in a sustainable and efficient way. The product’s circularity-driven approach also offers a solution for automotive OEMs looking to repurpose batteries that cannot be used in electric vehicles but remain safe and functional for industrial applications.
e-TOWER closes the loop of electric mobility, turning a challenge into an opportunity – transforming electric vehicle batteries themselves into the key enabler for deploying more and better fast-charging stations. A solution that drives sustainability, maximices efficiency, and accelerates the future of mobility.
