Valencia, October 8, 2024.

CDTI Innovación, through its Innvierte program, in collaboration with ELEWIT and EIT InnoEnergy, has reached an agreement with Zeleros’ partners to enter the company’s capital. This investment contributes to a total of €2.5M from the current funding round, aimed at achieving profitability by 2026 and consolidating its position as a key European player in sustainable mobility.

After seven years of developing hyperloop technologies, Zeleros leverages its know-how acquired from disruptive initiatives to provide agile engineering solutions in complex electrification and automation projects, acting as a technology partner and supplier of solutions such as electric batteries. Concurrently, the company emphasizes its ongoing involvement in hyperloop development and participates in the European industrial alliance Hyperloop Development Program, as well as in projects like Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (the European railway innovation association) and other international alliances, including a recent agreement with the rail division of the Indian multinational technology company, Larsen & Toubro.

Additionally, Zeleros is expanding its horizons through a new workplace in Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). This expansion, driven by several key factors, underscores its commitment to innovation and regional development in sustainable mobility. These factors include the technological synergies and innovation opportunities offered by the region, as well as proximity to key projects, talent acquisition and job creation, and strengthening leadership in sustainable transportation.

It is essential to highlight that the company maintains its offices in Valencia, preserving its Valencian identity. According to Zeleros CEO David Pistoni:

Valencia is, and always will be, an essential part of Zeleros, its innovative spirit, and its motivation.” He further adds, “This expansion is not just a geographical move; it is a strategic enhancement of our capabilities, positioning us to continue leading the next generation of transportation technologies. We look forward to the the developments this new chapter will bring and the positive impact we will have on the industry and the communities we serve”.

In 2024, Zeleros not only continues its progress in the development of cutting-edge technologies such as the hyperloop, but also strengthens its position in the sustainable mobility industry with significant growth in its team and project portfolio. Its activities cover areas such as industrial, maritime, and last-mile electrification, requiring specialized talent to support the demands of these new projects. With this renewed momentum, Zeleros strengthens its technical and commercial team to keep providing innovative and efficient solutions that enable companies to address complex challenges in electrification and automation.

This workforce enhancement reflects the company’s strong commitment to consolidating its leadership in sustainable mobility and its capacity to undertake large-scale projects, demonstrating that, despite market challenges, its vision and innovation capacity position it as a benchmark in the move towards a more efficient and eco-friendly transportation future..
